Alberta Ski Resort Reports First Snow Arriving Early

Two months before its scheduled November 10th opening date, Lake Louise Ski Resort, located in Alberta, Canada reported receiving snow on September 6, complete with pictures posted at Powder.com.

“Excitement is in the air as Lake Louise Ski Resort, located in Alberta, Canada, is reporting their first snow accumulation of the season,” wrote Powder.com. “The resort shared two pictures on September 6th, 2023 of white flakes blanketing the upper elevation slopes of the ski resort.”

Powder.com notes that Lake Louise Ski Resort is just one of several in North America and Europe reporting their first snowfalls in advance of the forthcoming ski season.

“The resort joins SnowbirdBreckenridgeMt. Hood Meadows, and a handful of European resorts in recording their first snowfall of the season,” said Powder.com.
