Kids were filmed making snow Angels in Johannesburg, South Africa where snow fell for the first time in more than a decade on July 10, reported Fox News.
Johannesburg was just one of a number of areas in South Africa to receive rare snow, according to the Courier Tribune.
“Johannesburg and other high-lying parts of South Africa received rare snow on Monday, July 10,” the Courier Tribune reported. “Weather services warned of potential road closures and dangerously cold temperatures.”
Johannesburg’s last recorded snowfall was in August 2012. The recent cold front delivered wind chills as low as 13 degrees in Johannesburg and surrounding areas, writes Fox News, resulting in the South African Weather Service issuing “warnings for extreme cold to impact both people and livestock.”
