For the first time this fall, a freeze warning was issued on Sunday, September 29, by the National Weather Service (NWS) for Central Oregon. Overnight low temperatures Sunday night into Monday morning were expected to reach below freezing across Wallowa County and the Grande Ronde Valley. A Freeze Warning was issued for these areas as morning low temperatures could reach as low as 23℉ degrees.

Overnight low temperatures tonight into Monday morning are expected to reach below freezing across Wallowa County, the Grande Ronde Valley, and portions of Central Oregon. A Freeze Warning has been issued for these areas as morning low temperatures could reach as low as 23 degrees.
