The National Weather Service (NWS) in Elko Nevada reported on Monday, June 17th:
Colder air will make its way into the state tonight into Monday night from a strong cold front affecting the region. This will cause low temperatures to fall close to freezing tonight across far northern Nevada with freezing temperatures likely in many valleys across northern and central Nevada Monday night. Lows could drop into the mid-20s in some valleys Monday night after high temperatures Monday afternoon only in the 50s and 60s. Even some higher elevation light snow is possible in far northern Elko County tonight into Monday morning! Expect warming temperatures starting Tuesday, with highs rising back up into the 90s by late this week under lighter winds and dry conditions.
On their Facebook page, they reported light snow on Monday morning, saying:
