Ryan Maue, Ph.D, noted on Twitter last week:

Great Lakes and Northeast still below freezing tomorrow morning. Friday’s lows in the 20s in Michigan and New England.

He included the graphic (seen at the top) showing low temperatures.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Grand Rapids Michigan tabulated the subfreezing temperatures on their Facebook page:

In the Northeast, the NWS in Albany, NY had this to say on Facebook:

Brrr!! It will be chilly tonight! Expect widespread temperatures in the 20s by early tomorrow morning. Bring any sensitive plants indoors and allow extra time for your A.M commute as you may have to scrap frost off your car.

The NWS in Caribou, ME noted even colder temperatures:

Clear skies and light winds will mean another cold night tonight. However, with the lighter winds, it will not feel as cold as it did last night. Another mostly sunny day on tap for Friday with temperatures several degrees warmer than today. Friday night will still be chilly though, with lows mostly in the 20s.
